VH1′s ‘Real Chance Of Love’ Star Ahmad ‘Real’ Givens Fighting Stage 4 Cancer!

Ahmad Givens a.k.a. Real, who starred in the VH1 hit reality show “Real Chance of Love” with his younger brother, Kamal, a.k.a. Chance, has been diagnosed with STAGE FOUR colon cancer and is getting treatment at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills.

TMZ has been told 33-year-old Real went back to the hospital at least 4 times and was initially told something was wrong with his liver — but last week doctors informed him it was colon cancer.

Stage four generally means the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.

We’re told the rapper-turned-reality-star will remain hospitalized at least until docs figure out what kind of treatment — chemotherapy, radiation, or both — he will require.

Let's Hope he pulls through.

Dax Shepard Blogs About Death of His Father

Teary eyed moment!

Funnyman and father-to-be Dax Shepard wrote a touching blog post about the recent death of his father, who lost his battle to cancer at age 62 in late December. Among many memories relived through his writing—his father’s experience with AA and his love for food and flirting with women, their troubled relationship and bonding over his diagnosis—one recollection involved his expectant “wife” Kristen Bell.

The actor described the moment his dad met his unborn child.

“At one point, and unbeknownst to both of us, my wife walked into the room. She had flown in from LA without any warning. It was a surprise. It was an amazing, incredible, perfectly timed surprise,” he wrote.

“She lifted her shirt up and he put his hand on her swollen stomach. He left it there for the better part of an hour,” he continued. “He was smiling from ear to ear, sitting contently, unable to put together a sentence, but still capable of connecting to the new family member we were creating.”

He added: “He wasn’t going to make it to the birth, but that didn’t get in the way of him meeting the new baby. It was an emotional and triumphant moment. One I will never forget. If I live to be a thousand, I will still be in debt to my wife for giving him that one last thrill.”

Actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and actor Lance Gross sat down with HLN’s “Weekend Express’ host Natasha Curry to talk about what it was like working with producer Tyler Perry on his new movie “Temptation.” 

Also, Lance and Jurnee dish on what it was like to work with their Hollywood co-stars Brandi, Vanessa Williams and Kim Kardashian.

In the film, Jurnee Smollett-Bell plays a marriage counselor who is lured into a toxic romantic relationship — behind her husband’s (played by Lance Gross) back.

Justin Timberlake with another New Album

JT is on a roll! Timberlake has confirmed that he will be coming out with another album this year but will not reveal the release date. That's no surprise. This will be a second volume to his just released album "The 20/20."

At his album release party, Timberlake stated that the album that was just released was "only the first part".

"There is another half," he said "I'm not giving you a release date."

Ouestlove, the roots drummer who has worked with Timberlake in the passed on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," stated that Mr.Timberlake, 32, intended to put a second album of 10 songs in November.

The new album marks down the comeback of Mr. Timberlake to the world of pop music after six years which I have missed. During those six years JT was focused on his acting career, having roles in "The Social Network" and "In Time." The album has been at the top of the itunes album since it became available and it is most likely to top the Billboard 200 chart.

Derrick Rose Gives Back

Derrick Rose has a big heart. He has offered to pay for the funeral of Jonylah Watkins. In case you didn’t know Jonylah Watkins was the six-month old baby who was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on March 11, 2013.She was shot five times along with her father Jonathan Watkins 25, who was seriously wounded.

NBC Chicago.com reports:

Rose, the Chicago Bulls, made the offer, according to Rev. Corey Brooks, who is a spokesman for the family of little Jonylah.

Rose was also said to have paid for the funeral of slain rapper Lil’ Jo Jo, who was shot and killed while riding a bike last September.

The Englewood native – who recently became a father last October when his son, Derrick Rose Jr. was born – has always felt a close connection to the plight of kids in Chicago, as evidenced by his speaking out during the recent Chicago Public School strike, and him shedding tears over the many obstacles that kids face during the launch of his new Adidas sneaker, the Rose 3.0 in September.
